embroider something. done.

Over the last week I’ve been watching a lot of Gossip Girl and working on this guy. I purchased this pattern from Studio MME last November, but last week I finally started. I used double threaded regular thread instead of embroidery floss since the vintage hanky I embroidered on was so delicate. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed embroidering! It’s probably one of my favorite handicrafts. And, yep, one more off the list… Let’s see if I can finish…

Ah this make me want to learn how to embroider. My dad used to embroider in the 90s whilst watching sports. Haha. Anyhow, your little embroidery is beautiful!

That looks fantastic! I haven’t embroidered much in my life, but seeing what can come of it is quite inspiring. Thanks for sharing.

I love your little embroidered hankie. I did a special embroidery like this for my wedding and it now hangs in our bedroom. So sweet.
