So, it’s Friday night. I get home from work at 8:30 and we’re all sitting on Kanda’s bed talking about our day and Kanda checks Macklemore’s site. We LOVE Macklemore. We see there is a show in Eugene (Eugene of all places?!) and tickets are $25 and then suddenly it’s two minutes later and we all have tickets to see Macklemore the next day.

The show was amazing! LIKE DAMN. Other than some car difficulties that were fixed (really) with two rolls of duct tape, it was one of the best days in a long, long time. If you have the opportunity to see them, take it. Such a fun show.

I used to hate Saturdays. Did you know that? Not sure why. Maybe because I was bored or because I had to work? I don’t work weekends anymore (I mean, other than for myself), so Saturdays are sort of my favorite day of the week. I usually spend them doing homework, grocery shopping (I love grocery shopping), and maybe occasionally being really lazy. This past Saturday was especially nice, I decided to take an actual day off for the first time in who knows how long.

Steph and I headed down to the Waterfront for the sunshine. It’s been an unusually sunny, warm, and nice Spring in Portland. It’s supposed to be 85 at the end of this week! We hung out down there for awhile, enjoying the sunshine and having some good conversations. Summer is so soon, thank heavens.

When my grandpa gave me my grandmother’s supplies, he left me to go through her studio. While there, I came across a ziplock bag of old polaroid photos my grandma had taken. Some of them were dated in the late 80s. They are from different places, mostly Oregon or Montana. I think she had taken them for composition ideas and inspiration and the ones I am sharing today are all of the Oregon coast (I think). I think I’m going to frame my favorites. Beauty…
