Saturday was my first Saturday off in two months… Though I had millions of things to do and emails to answer and deadlines that passed weeks ago… I decided to take the morning and afternoon off. I slept in. I went on a walk in the glorious Portland sunshine. I drank coffee and window shopped at the cute boutiques in my neighborhood that I always walk by. I dreamily walked through the hardware store, thinking about apartment projects. I lazied home and laid in bed and watched documentaries in bed and I worked on some ‘just for me’ paintings and it was good. It was good.

Ah, lovely! :) Pretty much what I did this weekend, too….lol. Now that school & work are over, it’s sooo crazy nice to be able to wake up to no blaring alarm, and just mosey on through stores and sip coffee. :)

This sounds so nice….once I’m moved and found a home in Seattle, I am so making a day like this happen <3

These sorts of days are absolutely vital. I’m re-learning how to make and take advantage of ‘me’ time and it’s a glorious process. It looks like your day went well! Always wishing you happy days! <3

It is nice to see when busy people have days off. After repeatedly being stressed out, sometimes just a nap in the shade does the trick.
Good luck with your future projects!
