A tiny corner store shop near an old house of mine had chai flavoured ice cream and it ruled. I’ve not been able to find it since, but the memory is vivid. I am enjoying everything I see on I Just Might Explode, so I don’t have any other suggestions. Love your work!

this camera is awesome! would love to see some pics it takes in diff formats. I love interesting DYI’s so any and all creative ones would be fun. My fav ice cream is Mocha Almond Fudge by Blue Bell just wished it wasn’t seasonal, wish it was avail all year long!

My favorite ice cream flavor is Turtle Trails. It’s vegan and vanilla based, with caramel streaks and chocolate covered toffee balls. I usually pick the toffee out first and eat it, then hit the ice cream.

Hello Kara,
I recently had a baby and just before she was born, I fell in love with the store brand Triple Peanut Butter flavor ice cream. PB and reeses cups, yum! I used to eat a small salad for dinner just so I could load up on a big bowl of ice cream. From now on, I will always associate it with the sweet time before I met our baby girl!

You had to ask about icecream flavours?? Icecream is my favourite, and there isn’t just one flavour that I love! In Australia, Maggie Beer’s Burnt Fig and Caramel, in Canada, Ben and Jerry’s If I Had 10,000 Flavours. And occasionally Rum and Raisin, or one scoop of mango sorbet and one scoop of coconut icecream. Bliss.

oh yeah, and I like taking photos and yellow is one of my favourite colours too.

Oh my !!
Good old fashoned comment. Thats what i miss from childhood, it was so so cool. The messages and letters were written on little pieces of paper, instead of twitts and facebook messages.
Thats why i started a shared journal with my boyfriend, it is really interesting to read from his own letter his thoughts fears and dreams. That things make life good.
I like the idea of the camera, the lomogrpahy cameras are amazing, because they are not perfect, like a good lens or many options, but they are really to create and experiment. Just like life. As the lomography philolophy says: live offline, share online. Just like your blog !!
I`m right now making all this: sharing, exdperimenting, and viewing life through a vintage russian camera, the smena 1. The holga sounds really interesting, its light, fun, colorful. I would like to have one because it uses 120 film. And its something new for me, actually all this photography world is new for me ! I just have shot 1 roll, all by myself ! It was a 24 photos film, and i just used 11… half of it was not used, but thats how we learn to use things, haa !

About your blog, hmm… i liked the 40 before 20 idea. I already have 21, so i want to do something simmilar for when i turn 23. I spent all my childhood inside my house, because my parents worked all day, so i really really want to eplore the world! Starting with a roadtrip with friends. That lists help to do things that you have never done or that you are afraid of doing them. I would also like to have a bikini, i dont swim very often because the nearest beach is 3 1/2 hours away, but hey ! I can do my own bikini beack with a kiddie pool and some plants, that would be cool for a low budget bech party with friends. I actually wanted a bikini like the one in your post, it was striped with light and dark bloe, but when it was affordable for me there was only the bottom part ! They have to sell both parts together !! but well, next time.

Also the but an instant camera idea its a good ideas, they are fun, at least you have to take some instant photos once in life ! They have the esence of analogue photography, and the magic o capturing a moment in time.

About icecream, i dont like the brand icecream that much, except for the choco-coconut flavour. I like the handmade icecream some people sell here in Mexico. They use some metal containers ans shake the ingredients with ice until its done. The flavours are so smooth and delicious ! There are many invented flavours like angel´s kiss (strawberry with rose´s petals) or michael jackson (chocolate and vanilla). My favorites are the citric ones, like mandarin and lemon. Also the ones with tamarind or chamoy !! (chamoy is a kind of peach prepared with chilli,so yummy !) The sweetest flavours i like are the goatmilk candy icecream, and the cheese icecream, it sound weird but is so delicious and creamy ! Also the zapote icecream, the zapote is a black soft fruit that looks gross but tastes so good !!

You definetely have to try the handmade icecream when you come to Mexico.

Ok, this is serious. I can’t choose a favorite ice cream flavor because it changes — with the season, with my mood, with the day of the week/time of day. BUT I’ve been enjoying mint ice cream with chocolate sprinkles lately. And pumpkin’s always a close second.
