Berry Picking at Sauvie Island

Last Friday we went berry picking at Sauvie Island Farm. This wasn’t my first time and it certainly won’t be my last, but it will be one to remember. Mei and Stephanie and Steph are three of my favorite ladies in the entire world. You know those good people you’re sort of in awe that you know? And that they know and like you back? And they are just really, really good amazing people? I feel incredibly lucky that I have them. I feel like they are always teaching me how to be a good person, an adult, and to do it with grace, self-awareness, and laughter.

Mei took these photos and wrote this great post about them. Isn’t she an incredible photographer?  You can keep up with her work on Facebook or follow her on Instagram. She’s one of my favorite Instagrammers. Is it time to go back to the farm?

These berries look so delicious. There is nothing like fresh berries from God’s green earth!

I just realized that we have the same hair right (just got my shorty short bangs trimmed!) and that makes me super happy. So do these pics. AH so beautiful. I miss the NW sooooo much.

Long time lurker, but I think this is the first time I finally left a comment! Love what you do, girl.

Sorry this is a bit fangirly but I’m so glad you’re posting regularly again (I know you have been for a while but I haven’t said it yet) – I always look forward to your posts, both the writing and the photographs.

Anyway, gorgeous post that is making me hungry for berries!
